Michael Killen
Michael has been in Middle Tennessee for over 30 years. While attending the University of Tennessee, he interned at a general practice law office, exposing him to not only a wide spectrum of legal issues, procedures and solutions, but the realities of what is required of attorneys in order to successfully represent their clients. After earning a Bachelor’s of Political Science Degree from The University of Tennessee Knoxville, he attended Thomas M. Cooley Law School. While earning his Doctorate of Juris Prudence, he worked as an intern for a criminal attorney in Flint, Michigan and after graduation went to work at the same office, with a focus on family law. He returned to Nashville in 2009 where he began to practice family and criminal law, with a concentration on drug and alcohol related crimes. Mr. Killen participates in yearly continuing education programs to stay up to date on changes in Criminal and Family Law so he can better serve his clients’ needs.
